Izanaki
In Japanese Shinto mythology Izanagi is the primordial sky.

The Underworld
When Izanami died giving birth to the god of fire, Izanaki felt he couldn't live without her, so he went to the underworld to retrieve her. Since she'd already eaten, she couldn't go back. She asked him not to look at her on his way, but he did and was so horrified he placed a rock as barrier to keep the dead on their side of the underworld.
